Plans

Is this a subscription?

No, we do not have recurring charges for our products. All payments are one-time. Once your purchase(s) are complete, you are not charged again.

What happens after I buy a plan?

When you complete your order, you will receive an email with access information within 24 hours.

When you are ready, use the access link provided in your email to confirm your profile.

Once you've finished confirming your profile, we will begin preparing your custom plan. Custom plan creation takes approximately 3-4 hours.

Once completed, your plan will be available and accessible any time using your access link.

Will my plan disappear?

No, once we create a custom plan, it's yours. You can view it online as many times as you like, month after month and year after year, or download and print as many copies as you want. Your plan is yours to keep forever. Even if you lose your plan, our friendly customer service team will retrieve a copy for you.

How does it work if I buy more than one month?

After confirming your profile using your access link, you will see a list of your available meal plans under the heading 'Meal plans.' In this section, plans which are being prepared show 'in progress,' completed plans show 'Ready,' future available plans show 'waiting.' 

When nearing the end of each month's plan, use your access link and navigate to the 'Meal plan' section; follow the steps to request your next plan. 

Future plans remain 'in waiting' until you request them so we can create every plan with your most recent weight ensuring your nutrition targets are accurate each month.

How do I get help with my plan?

Using your access link, you will find excellent information in the resource section on the homepage of your profile. You will also find tips for using your plan when viewing your completed plans.

How do you know what my body requires?

Everyone's body is different. And diet and nutrition evolve throughout each person's health journey. That's why it's essential to have a personalized plan for your weight loss success. 

Based on the information you provide in our quiz, and when completing your profile after purchasing, we can determine your BMR (basal metabolic rate), TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure), caloric goal, and your required daily macronutrient breakdown — allowing us to design a plan specifically for you. Additionally, plans are further personalized to your ingredient preferences and eating schedule to help you better adhere to your diet. 

Do I have to worry about counting calories?

No. We calculate your daily caloric needs, set targets to achieve your goals, and create menus that meet your target. Each recipe in your menu details the exact ingredient measurement you need to meet your target.

Do I have to count my macronutrients?

No. We take care of all nutrient calculations for you. Based on the information you provide in our quiz, we can determine your macronutrient breakdown. We build your daily menu focused on meeting those macro targets.

Can't I just find these recipes for free online?

We have over 3500 recipes in our private catalog, each one curated and reviewed by our nutritionist.

You could find similar recipes online, but why not skip the time-intensive task of filtering through thousands of recipes, poring through blogs and reviews, and battling advertisements. 

Not only do you benefit from the time-saved searching for the right recipe, but you also benefit from a customized recipe that meets your daily nutrition targets — no counting calories, no tracking macros, no planning required.

Are the recipes hard to make?

No, anyone can make our recipes. We do our best to keep recipes simple but satisfying. Most recipes can be made in under 30 minutes, with basic kitchen tools found in most homes.

Do the recipes use expensive food?

We do our best to create menus with affordable ingredients. Since we customize each plan to your specific tastes, your preferences can impact ingredient costs. For example, if the only protein you eat is steak, that can get pricey! Additional resources are available with your plan, giving tips and tricks on keeping costs down for even the pickiest eater.

Are there any hard-to-find specialty ingredients?

No, we made sure our recipes use ingredients you can find at most grocers. We do our best to keep things simple but satisfying. We use everyday ingredients like chicken breast, spinach, olive oil, etc., and these can be found at stores like Kroger, Publix, ShopRite, Target, and Walmart. And many of the non-perishable items are also available on Amazon. Additional resources are available with your plan, giving tips and tricks on substituting, in the rare occasion you have trouble finding an ingredient.

What if I don't like a recipe or can't find an ingredient

We don't want to leave you in a lurch if you can't find an ingredient. Every custom meal plan includes additional resources that provide detailed tips and tricks on substituting ingredients and adjusting recipes to accommodate your tastes further.

Can you remove meals that I don't eat?

Yes, if you try a recipe that isn't working for you, our customer support team is happy to help adjust your menu. If you are looking for a quick fix, we provide additional resources with your plan offering tips and tricks on substituting ingredients and swapping recipes.

Can I add other people to my plan?

Yes! Cooking multiple meals, one for you and one for your family members, is time-consuming and pricey! We want to keep things simple for you, so it's easier to adhere to your diet. After your purchase, when following the on-screen prompts to submit a plan request, you are presented with the option to add additional people. We will include them in your menu and let you know how to divide the meal for each person so you can stay on track with your diet.

Do you accommodate intermittent fasting?

Yes! Fasting could potentially help you manage your hunger better and make it easier to be in a caloric deficit. You can request a meal plan with fasting incorporated. You will be able to select which meals of the day you would like to skip, and we'll make sure you are still getting the nutrition you need during your non-fasting hours.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment via PayPal, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Are there any hidden fees or surprises?

No. The price you see is the price you pay. There are no hidden fees or payment surprises from WeightLossDiet. 

However, our company is based in Canada, and some payment card issuers and credit card networks may charge a foreign transaction fee (Chase, Citibank, etc.) if you are purchasing from outside of Canada. Their fee, if charged, is typically less than $2.

How does the money back guarantee work?

If, for any reason, you aren't fully satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all digital and unopened physical products. 

However, we encourage you to communicate any issues with your purchase(s), so we can try and resolve any problems beforehand.
